According to the research firm Gartner Group, “Output equipment fleets [e.g. copiers, printers, fax machines, and multifunctional/colour devices] are one of the most overlooked and under-managed sets of assets in many enterprises.
Surprisingly, these fleets can cost an enterprise between 1-3 % of revenue per year.” To that end, Gartner summarises that output fleets represent an internal “Hidden Goldmine” for cost savings.
